These miniature cat figurines are hand-carved from soapstone in Kenya and hand-painted in five different cat patterns: Calico, Tuxedo, Orange, Tabby, and Spotted. They are approximately 2 inches long, 2 inches high (to top of tail), and 1 inch wide.
Each cat has its own distinctive coloring. The Calico combines orange, black and white; the Tuxedo is black with a white belly; the Orange cat is orange with a white belly; the Tabby is grey with black stripes; and the Spotted cat has a white body with gray/black splotches, along with a gray/black head and tail.
Their small size makes them perfect for shelves, desks, nightstands, windowsills or other small spaces. They also make charming gifts for cat lovers, or a fun addition to a collection of miniature animals.
Each piece is individually hand-carved and painted, so small variations in size, shape and coloring are part of the character of these handmade soapstone figurines.
