These Christmas tree ornaments are all handmade in Kenya from soapstone, which is a soft stone that is naturally creamy white. First, the stone is cut into thin sheets and then the outline of the shape is carved from the sheet of stone. Finally, each ornament is hand painted and embellished with patterns and designs!
As each ornament is hand made, each is unique. You will receive a ornament similar to the one pictured, as each piece is slightly different. Natural stone may have marbling or inclusions. The pattern/design is on one side only. -

Love these beautifully crafted soapstone animals from “It’s a small world global”. Soapstone is so unique, with fascinating history and design. We were in Kenya in September, and this is such a unique and special gift for Christmas or any time of the year, and a gift that is actually made in Kenya. It can hang over a bottle of wine, slipped into a card, and can hang on the tree. Very prompt delivery, well packaged, and prompt communication, too. I won’t hesitate to use this seller again, thank you.
