This chubby little blue jay is hand-carved from soapstone in Kenya and painted in bright blue, white and black. Its rounded body, prominent crest and distinctive markings give it a cheerful, stylized look.
Measuring approximately 3" from front to back, 2" wide and 2.75" high, this plump bird is about the size and shape of an extra-large egg. Its compact shape makes it a nice addition to a windowsill, desk, bookshelf or collection of bird figurines.
Each piece is carved and painted by hand, so small variations in shape and painted details may occur.
A fun gift for a blue jay enthusiast, birdwatcher or anyone who enjoys colorful bird ornaments and handcrafted wildlife decor.
