These adorable hippo bowl are hand-carved from soapstone, also known as Kisii stone as it is hand-quarried and carved in the Kisii region of Kenya, and then painted with bright eco-friendly non-toxic paint. Great as unique gift for any hippo lover, or as a gift to yourself!
As each item is hand-carved and unique, you will receive a similar item to the one pictured. You will receive the colour ordered, but the painted pattern may be different. The hippopotamus dishes are 7" from nose to tail, and the bowl is approximately 4.25" diameter, except for the natural stone bowls, which are larger and are about 4.75" diameter. Sizes/dimensions are approximate, as each piece is handmade.
