• Details
  Did you know that zebra stripes are some of the most unique markers in the animal kingdom? Just like human fingerprints, no two sets of zebra stripes are alike.
  
  These adorable zebras are carved from soapstone, also known as Kisii stone, because they are hand-quarried and hand-made in the Kisii region of Kenya. Just like real zebras, as these soapstone zebras are hand-carved and hand-painted, no two are alike!
  
  The zebras are approximately 2 inches high, 1.5" wide, and 3" long. As each piece is handmade and unique, all measurements are approximate.
  
  We work directly with a community-based group of 30 artisans in Kisii, Kenya, who bring these beautiful soapstone miniature nativity sets to life. This partnership not only supports the artisans financially but also helps preserve their traditional carving techniques.
