  These colorful soapstone sea turtles are hand-carved in the Kisii region of Kenya. The stone is hand-quarried before skilled artisans carve the turtles, then they are sanded smooth, and painted with eco-friendly paint.
  
  Size 4.5" from nose to tail and 3" wide
  
  Each item is unique, so you will receive a similar item to the examples shown.
  Sizes/dimensions are approximate, as each piece is handmade.
  
  We work directly with a community-based group of 30 artisans in Kisii, Kenya that make these beautiful soapstone sea turtles.
