These colorful metal elephant sculptures are handcrafted in Zimbabwe from recycled steel roofing, known locally as Chromadek. Measuring approximately 5 inches tall, 5 inches long from head to tail, and 2 inches wide, it's a distinctive little accent for a shelf, desk, bookcase or other decorative display. As each piece is handmade, measurements are approximate.
The vibrant colors are the original colors of the recycled roofing and have not been repainted or touched up. Natural scuffs, scratches and variations in the metal remain visible, giving each elephant its own character.
Each sculpture is handmade by an artisan in Zimbabwe, supporting a community that creates distinctive artwork from recycled materials. The combination of colorful metal and individual craftsmanship makes this elephant a lovely gift for an elephant lover or anyone who appreciates African art and recycled metal decor. -
