These colourful soapstone pink elephants are hand-carved in the Kisii region of Kenya. The stone is hand-quarried before skilled artisans carve the elephants, then it is sanded smooth, and painted.
Each item is unique, so you will receive a similar item to the examples shown.

This is the cutest little elephant in soap stone I've ever seen! It was expertly carved, and the color is a vibrant and deep pink without being too loud. I love that his little trunk is pointing upward for good luck. I've wanted a "pink elephant" in my miniature collection for a while and this fits tastefully. It would also make a great little housewarming gift or office desk accessory.
