This 4" round decorative dish features a giraffe hand-carved in Kisii soapstone in Kenya. The giraffe is created with a smooth, raised surface, while the surrounding stone is carefully chipped away to create a textured background.
The dish is approximately 4" in diameter and 1" high. Each one is carved by hand, so the stone may have natural variations in color, grain and texture.
These shallow dishes are useful for holding coins, keys, jewelry or other small items, or simply as a decorative accent. A nice little piece for a giraffe lover or anyone who enjoys handmade African stone carving. -

The seller was so blessed. Though this particular item was sold out at another event by the time she received the order, she was wonderfully gracious and gave me the offer of choosing another one in it's place. I found one that I liked out of all there was to select from, and thank her very much. She even gave me an extra special coupon on account of the fact that it was already sold. Thank you very much!
